Retaining the Breath during Pranayama ~ Kumbhaka

Once we have established a daily pranayama practice for six months then it is time to start adding retentions.  If we are not practicing at least 5 times a week then it is wiser to wait even longer.
This is what our teacher, Sri O.P. Tiwari advises.
Here Gerald talks about retaining the breath which is called Kumbhaka in Sanskrit.
