Chaturanga Dandasana

Standing Positions & Salutations / By Ashtanga Yoga Paris

This is a hard pose! 
I know, it took me years to understand how to work the body evenly to hold myself off the floor without over working the trapeze muscles.  But if you continue on the Ashtanga Vinyasa practice you will need to work this pose well in order to build the necessary strength to maintain a healthy strong shoulder girdle!
